Köy, Uşak il merkezine 16 km uzaklıktadır. Köyün batısında ve çok yakın mesafede adını aldığı Altıntaş sulama göleti yer almaktadır. Köyün hemen batısında, şu anda gölet yapılan vadide  Neolitik Çağ ve Kalkolitik Çağ'a ait bulgulara rastlanan "Altıntaş Höyüğü" ile bu höyüğe bakan kayalıklara oyulmuş  İlk Tunç Çağı ve Roma Dönemine ait bulgulara rastlanılan sığınak şeklindeki yaşam alanları bulunmaktadır. Höyük ve kaya mezarlarının bulunduğu vadi, Altıntaş Kaya Yerleşimi olarak tescil edilmiştir.

The village is 16 km away from the city center of Uşak. In the west of the village and very close to it, there is Altıntaş irrigation pond, from which it is named. Next to the west of the village, in the valley where a pond is currently being built, there are "Altıntaş Mound", where findings from the Neolithic and Chalcolithic Ages can be found, and living areas in the form of shelters carved into the rocks overlooking this mound, where findings from the Early Bronze Age and Roman Period can be found. The valley where the mound and rock tombs are located has been registered as Altıntaş Rock Settlement.
